This is a simple and very common style hinge used for centuries on anything that needed to be folded out of the way or folded into place for use. Commonly found in work shops and ships on folding benches and storage bins.
We make these reproduction hinges from 11 ga steel with 3/16” pin. Hinges measure 3” at the pin and approximately 1” at the end of each leaf. Each leaf is approx. 6” in length. We make this hinge in two designs.
One is a straight taper with round end.
The other has a traditional acorn end.
Sold in sets of two these hinges come with matching forged head clinch nails or slotted screws.
