These are our large size folded outside mount hinges made in Heavy 11 Gauge steel. Sold in sets of two and each set is made to fit the backset on your project. The backset is the thickness of the lid on your trunk or chest.
The hinge pin is located in the center of the joint between the lid and the box.
So, if the lid on your project is 3/4” thick the backset will be 3/4” backset may be selected at checkout. If yours is not listed choose “other” and leave a note as to the backset that is needed
These hinges come in 6 different finishes and come with forged head nails for mounting unless screws are requested.

The last photo shows the three sizes we offer in folded hinges. Medium, Large and Xtra Large. All can be found in our hardware listings along with other designs and lengths for your restoration or new building project. Custom orders are always welcome.
Our large, folded hinge is a standard 5” top leaf which will include the backset bend.
So a 1” backset will leave 4” of hinge leaf on top. If you would prefer adding to the length, simply contact us for custom changes and pricing.
All of our hardware is made to order. Please allow up to 3 weeks to ship.
1” forged head nails in matching finish are provided with your order. Slotted flathead or decorative slotted round head screws may also be provided on request.
