This is a set of handmade Trunk Handles and oval back plates for antique replacement or your reproduction project.
Handles are hand forged. Cotter pins are hand made to mount through the trunk sides and then bent to be driven back into the interior wood to hold them in place. Back plates are 16 ga. steel. Hardware has a baked on linseed oil finish. This is a traditional black finish for hardware found on original 17th-early 19th century trunks. This is our Small size handle for Small or Medium size trunks and chests.
Sold in sets. Two handles with back plates and cotter pins.
Back Plates measure 3w X 2 3/4h.
