Made to go with our hand made hinge hinges and other trunk and chest hardware, these lid stays are made with brass chain that does not tangle yet folds neatly inside of your trunk or chest. The findings at each end have a single brass screw that goes through the last loop at each end to hold the chain secure so the lid of your trunk or chest will not flop over and damage anything. The chain is rated at 35 lb strength.
These chain lid stays are sold in sets of two.
Chain length supplied is 24" and can easily be shorted to fit your need or for a longer chain length just contact us before ordering.
Findings are hand cut and forged to fit our chains and can be purchased in 5 different finishes.
